BODRUM HIKING WEEK

Walks offer glorious views of the Aegean coastline dotted with picturesque bays.
Stroll along Bodrum’s waterfront overlooked by the magnificent Crusader Castle of St Peter.
Follow old traditional routes through pastoral scenery and untouched villages.
A full programme of guided walks of 4 days with 2 options every day. Our experienced leaders offer the choice of two different walks each day. Choose the option which best suits your interests and fitness. Enjoy a day on the boat .Our leaders are friendly and welcoming making your holiday fun and sociable.

Day 1: Arriving in Bodrum. Transfer to Hotel.
Day 2: Torba + Pedesa + Bodrum
The walking path that begins in the north of Bodrum heading to Pedesa and Gökçeler Castle has different alternatives for the return. Depending on the walkers there are 2 starting points. One from Konacik and the other one is Pedesa. This Route has a 360 degrees panorama of the peninsula.
Level of difficulty: GB 2 Total climb:390m Total descent : 485m Total: 11 km.
Features: The path, which starts with a pleasant slope and has a view of Bodrum, goes through a valley and continues to Gökçeler. At the intersection of the valleys facing the north and south west there is a historic castle and buildings around it that were built by the Leleg.
Day 3 : Derekoy + Yakakoy + Partipanaz Rock + Yalikavak
The walk that starts from Derekoy to Yakakoy and leads to Partipanaz Rock. Then through the old Sandyma village to Yalikavak.
Level of difficulty: GB 2 Total climb:335m Total descent: 505m Total: 12 km
Features: The path leads through natural beauties to the village of Sandima, which allows you to see what life on the peninsula was like in the past as it is abandoned and untouched by progress. There are panoramic views from the Partipanaz rock all the way to Sandima. It is worth seeing the Partipanaz Rock.
Day 4: Boattrip in Bodrum
Today will be a lazy day in Bodrum. That means we will have nice boat trip along the bays of Bodrum. Lunch will be onboard and included. At 16:00 hrs we will be back in Bodrum.
Day 5: Yenikoy + Etrim Forest Road
The walk begins at Yenikoy - Mazi road and, goes through forest pads. You will see the big valley from above and pass some untouched villages with ending at Etrim . Level of difficulty: GB 2 Walk duration: 15.5 km. Total climb: 917m Total descend: 945m
Features: The trail is an old one that runs from the south to the northwest of the peninsula and was used by people on foot or on donkey travelling to mountain villages and cemeteries. In Etrim village we will have a nice barbeque.

Day 6. The Ancient Kings' Road Walk

Route 1 5.5 km Route 2 5.3 km
Bafa Lake 80 km. from Bodrum. The walk starts from the western end of Bafa Lake, which used to a be the ancient port of the city of Herakleia (Today known as Kapıkırı village) but partly follows the Ancient Kings' Road to the Beşparmak Mountains (Latmos Mountain). Here you find pre-historic cave pictures, caves that have frescoes from the early Christian era and the ruins of monasteries (Arap Avlusu).

Level of difficulty: GB 2-3 Walk duration: 2 to 5 hours. The route can be adjusted from 5.5 to 10 km.

Features: Throughout the trip there are extraordinary natural beauties and historic sites.

Day 7 is a free day. Day 8 Transfer to Airport.
